We all went to the Town Hall to be a part of the raising of the Franco-Albertan flag.  All of the French Immersion classes in Beaumont were present as well as several local and provincial dignitaries.  Then we went to JE Lapointe for a French rock concert from les 10e12e from BCHS.

TRIVIA!!  A hypercolour pencil for the THREE people who can tell me what the following parts of the Franco-Albertan flag stand for.  Please only answer for one because you can only win once.
The blue background and Rose
The white background and felur-de-lis
The diagonal stripes

  1. The rose and the blue in the upper left corner, represent Alberta. The white represents the Francophonie, and the blue and white stripes represent the water and roads travelled through the province by Francophone explorers.
