Non-Newtonian Fluid - GOO!

Today I taught a lesson about the properties of solids, liquids, and gasses.  I also told them about something in between called non-Newtonian fluids.  Basically a solid with liquid properties.  Cornstarch and water.

Cell posters

The grade 8s made these beautiful posters of plant and animal cells for science class last week.  They are beautiful!

Diffusion

Today the grade 8s learnt about diffusion and osmosis and we did a little demo to show how particles diffuse differently in hot and cold water.  COOL!!
